My last post – A Day on the Highway – was about a day spent driving on the New Delhi-Alwar highway. The road trip was impromptu, but the lovely weather made it every bit worth the while. Here I am sharing a couple of videos from the drive. The videos are shaky, but I hope it gives an idea about the highway and the beautiful landscape.
The second video is from around the Dadhikar Fort, nestled in the lap of the Aravalli range. It gives a glimpse of Rajasthan’s lush countryside in the areas around the Aravalli hills. This video again is very shaky, but in my defence I will just say that the wind was hard in the face and it was difficult to keep the phone camera steady in the moving car. π
Hope to do a better job of taking videos the next time I am on the road. π

The scenery is really beautiful..wish the video could be more prominent… :-)…but it is evident that you tried your best…
Thanks for stopping by Maniparna. π
And yes, the shaky video does no justice to the beauty of the landscape. This was my first time, will try and take a better one the next time I try videography. π
we love impromptu road trips …music and awesome weather makes it worth …
The videos say many things, would love a few clicks too. Awaiting your next trip. π
Have been there but I am poor at Videography π
Absolutely! Impromptu, unplanned trips are much more fun than planned ones. Well, almost always. π
Thanks for stopping by Rahul. What I have shared here is, of course, not a very fine example of videography, you see. So the next time you can attempt too, and share your experience on your blog. π
Thanks for the motivation Datta! π Next trip…well I hope it happens sometime soon. π
